2 28 oz. cans of crushed tomatoes
fry garlic and onions till garlic is a light golden brown note: this sauce you can freeze also and use for future meals
note: you can put sausage,a piece of beef veal or pork (or all meats )to this
sauce..for a great flavor.
makes many servings..depends on how much sauce one prefers
note: if putting fried meatballs in your sauce..add them to the sauce for the
last 40 minutes or so.
1 28 oz.can of tomato puree
1 can of
tomato paste
3 cloves of fresh garlic,,, chopped
3 tablespoons of Italian
seasonings
3 tablespoons of accent (to wake up the flavor)
5 or 6 leafs of
fresh basil (optional)
3 tablespoons of garlic powder
salt and pepper to
taste
1/4 or 1/2 cup of grated locatelli cheese (or grated cheese of your
choice)
2 teaspoons of sugar ( to lessen the acid if you like)
1 onion
chopped (optional)
3 tablespoons of oil (olive or your choice)
3 cans of
water (using the 28 oz. can to measure)
add crushed
tomatoes, puree and paste,water and all seasonings
simmer for 3-4 hours..the
longer,the better the taste
