PECAN BALLS

2 cups of butter or margarine
1/2 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon of vanilla
4 cups of all purpose flour
4 cups of finely chopped pecans

Mix together all ingredients,adding more flour a little at a time as needed for a firm batter
Put in fridge for about 1 hour
Then roll dough into balls,about a bit smaller than a golf ball

Bake at 325 degrees for about 10-12 minutes until done, then cool for 20 minutes and roll into confectioner's sugar.
