STUFFED CABBAGE

I head of cabbage
1 LB. of beef veal and pork(may use all beef ground if preffered)
1 egg
1/2 of grated cheese(your preference)
1 cup of cooked rice
salt and pepper to taste
1 small onion chopped
2 cups of tomato sauce(already prepared)

boil cabbage for 5 minutes
while cabbage is boiling,mix well all the above ingredients with the exception of the tomato sauce and the cabbage
remove cabbage from pot
drain well
peel the leaves from cabbage
lay each leaf out and place meat mixture(about a palm sized portion into each leaf)
roll until cabbage looks like a roll
place one cup of tomato sauce into a suace pan to coat entire bottom
place all cabbage rolls in pan
cover cabbage rolls with the other cup of tomato sauce
preheat oven to 350 degrees
cover pan in aluminum foil
bake for 40 to 45 minutes
