In a large bowl, mix all ingredients above, with the exception of the steak.
Note: You may also fry these steaks in a oil heated frying pan.
These steaks are usually put in tomato sauce and cooked and also served with a pasta dish.
Note: you may serve these also as a main meal.
BRACOLE
(Italian bread filled steaks)
2 pounds of top round steak (sliced thin)
1/2 cup of locatelli cheese, or cheese of your liking
3 cups of cubed bread or sliced white bread shreded
2 teaspoons of parsley
2 large eggs
1 clove of garlic finely chopped
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 cup of olive oil
salt and peper to taste
Note: you may also add ground beef to this bread mixture.
Mix well.
Lay out each piece of steak,,scoop the bread mixture in the center of each steak.
Roll, as you would in a jelly roll form.
Closing each roll with a toothpick or you may use sewing thread.
Place the rolled steaks in a deep shallow baking pan,(uncovered) coated with a bit of oil.
Bake at 350 degrees, for about 45 minutes.
