(Easter Ham Pie)

Crust: 6 eggs
4 cups of flour
4 teaspoons of baking powder
pinch of salt
pinch of black pepper
12 tablespoons of melted buter or shortening

Use a 9 by 13 pan.
Beat eggs well. In a seperate bowl, put the flour, pepper, salt and baking powder.
Add the butter and eggs to make a dough.
Chill for at least one hour.
Roll 1/2 of the dough to fit pan

Filling:
1 pound of cooked sausage, cubed
1 pound of baked ham
1/2 pound of Prosciutto, chopped
1 1/2 cups of grated Romano cheese
2 dozen of eggs
1 pound of basket cheese (usually found at Easter time)

Mix the first 5 ingredients.
Add beaten eggs to cover the mixture.
Pour into crust lined pan.
Roll the other 1/2 of dough and cover the pan with the top crust.
Make slits on top and brush with egg yolk.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, or until cooked.
