STROMBOLI

10 ounce package of refrigerated pizza crust
2/3 cup of pizza sauce 1 egg beaten
1/4 pound of mozzarella cheese
3/4 pound of pepperoni (also may add or substitute ham, salami, or cooked Italian sausage

Roll pizza dough into 13 by 10 inch rectangle.
Spread sauce on dough.
Arrange meat and cheese onto top, leaving a one inch border.
Fold long edges of dough over filing, overlapping sides.
Pinch long edge of dough to seal.
Place on greased baking sheet.
Cut slits in top of dough.
Brush with egg.
Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool on rack.
Cut into slices and serve warm.
