The people of Isla Mujeres, Mexico had a special Mass for Tammy on July 18, 2003.

"The ladies from the villages on Isla Mujeres came this morning and we prayed a rosary. On Friday a lot of people came to the Marina. We went out to the dock, lit some candles and a mexican girl read a Tibetan prayer. We gave some more flowers to the sea and while this girl was reading the prayer, Tammy sent us the most incredible sunset."
