Dylan Storm is the son of Grifter and Phoenix Storm. As a small child Dylan was a very outgoing boy and was very close to his father. His temper was well known as it caused things to catch fire when he didnt get his way. When Dylan and his twin Griffen were two years old they were kipnapped by the Yuuzhan Vong to be sacrifaced to the Vong gods. Grifter tracked them down and rescued his sons but a final attack from the vong Dunvi Karr resulted in Grifters death. Soon after to avenge his fathers death Dylan returned to the vong base and slew Dunvi Karr
In dying Grifter absorbed a lot of kinetic energy from a thermal detonator that was thrown at him and the twins. Dylan and Griffen also instinctively absorbed a tremedous amount. Knowing his sons couldnt cope with the engeries they had in them Grifter used the added power he gained from the energy to age them through the force he was dying. After returning home Grifter's former student Jet Al'Meara
took Dylan as her apprentice and began teaching him everything she learned from his father. Dylan's power has been said to be far greater than his fathers but his temper and lack of training has prevented him from refining it. His greatest displays of power have came when he was at his angriest and not in control of his emotions.His loss of temper eventually lead to the death of his cousin Ki Blade during a duel between the two. His temper is only rivaled by his love of playing jokes. To Dylan everything is a game till he ignites a lightsaber then everything is a way to prove he is his fathers son.
Over time Dylan eventually fell for Morgaine Parcon this resulted in a bloody duel which ended with Dylan slaying another cousin, Tamar Nadd, who was also competing for Morgaine’s love. Although Morgaine’s father Obi Parcon at first was very against his daughter seeing Dylan they continued to see each other. During this time Dylan’s adventures and his nature ability to find trouble resulted in his capture by the Peace Brigade on several occasions. One of which radically changed his life. While in captivity with his new fiancé Morgaine, Dylan was tortured endlessly along with several other members of the DJO. After they escaped Dylan held himself responsible for everyone’s pain. This changed him from a carefree young man to a very serious and nearly emotionless person. He started looking at everything as potential way to make up for his mistakes. Dylan eventually tracked down the surviving Peace Brigade soldiers that held he and his friends and savagely murdered them all in cold blood. His vengeance did not heal the hole in his heart.
Before Dylan left on his quest for vengeance he and Morgaine were married and later she found that she was pregnant. During this time his uncle Damon Blade was wreaking havoc among the DJO and Dylan was told to stay home and care for his pregnant wife. Over the course of the next few weeks this order gave him a feeling of helplessness and he blow up during an argument with Morgaine’s mother and leader of the DJO, Temba Mfalme Kifaru. Dylan left the DJO and sought out Damon with the help of his twin brother Griffen. Dylan and Griffen laid siege to their uncles Fortress and killed anyone that got in their way. A violent duel erupted when they found Damon. Unfortunately it was a duel from which Damon escaped. In desperation Griffen used his abilities to create a force nova that wiped out the base and Dylan and Griffen were thought to be dead. In reality the two brothers were trapped deep below the base in a hidden tunnel system that was lined with ysalamiri. Eventually they escaped and Dylan made it home just in the nick of time to be there for the birth of his children Erika and Chase Storm. Shortly after his return Temba asked Dylan to come back to the DJO. He gladly rejoined. Dylan is now spending his time with his wife and children. Something he finds completely different than anything he was ever trained for. He has quickly started to notice that with the birth of his children the hole that has burned within for so long is growing less painful and his need for filling it with bloody duels has also abated. Dylan was killed in the tail end of a vong invasion on Corellia.
