Among the most seriously taken of adult leagues, football players come with it every week. From flag to full contact, most leagues provide their players with great scoring chances and defensive stands. From investigating these leagues I have found that Lowe Buck and surrounding leagues are a melting pot of talented high school stars.

My personal favorite is what is currently known as the Bucks Flag Football League (BFFL). Formerly the National Flag Football League, new commish Joe Craig has taken a well established leauge and provided it's players with more competative teams, longer field of play, and better refs (if there was such a thing). Among the best talent home grown in Lower Bucks, the BFFL is one to check out.

Another league that is more designed for fun and scoring is the Lower Bucks Flag Football Association(LBFFA). Played similarly to arena, offenses quickly move the ball up and down the field with no offensive line, and a defensive rusher 12 yds out. With no down field blocking, this becomes advantagous to anyone not looking to be hurting on Monday for work. Commishioner Debbie Karantinali has expanded to league for both adult men's teams and a childrens division.

A step outside of Bucks is the Liberty Bell Tournaments. Here traveling teams can converge and face some of the toughest competion in the area. Talented players Philly, New York, Maryland, Jersey and Delaware face off in bracket style winner takes all purse weekend tournament. Monthly checking of website will keep you updated as to tournament winners and future events.

Because football knows no boundries, the Community Flag Football League (CFFL) is located in Harleysville/Lansdale area. Visit the website or contact commishioner Andy Schmoyer for more details.
