The Middle Atlantic Wrestling Association (MAWA) is an AAU Wrestling Club in the Middle Atlantic Association of the AAU.The MAWA currently provides the following wrestling services to about 12,000 folkstyle (high school style) athletes within 17 states (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, DC, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Essentially it is an open tournament that has national implications. Athletes in age from 18 - 80 can wrestle in inflated weightbrackets, win enough and you could find yourself in Orlando, Fl wrestling for a national title.

A similar tournament style wrestling link is USA Wrestling. Membership fees are required. However a bonus lies within, weight classes for women allow for nationwide tournaments.
