Chapter 29

	Whitney appeared as requested, but with Brian in tow. By the time
they’d arrived though, AJ and I were circling each other like warring lions and
hurling insults at each other.

	“Why didn’t you tell anyone you little prick??” I screamed.

	“Who could I tell?”

	“Anyone at a Meeting. And another thing you idiot, why didn’t you go
to Meetings?”

	“What’s a Meeting?” he asked suddenly confused.

	“You don’t know what a Meeting is?” I asked incredulously.

	“Well I would if--”

	“Stop! The both of you!” Whitney yelled. This caused both AJ and I to
look over at her. 

	“How’d you get in here?” he asked, confused again.

	“I came through the door,” she answered, putting the emphasis on the
word through. 

	“This is getting weirder and weirder.”

	“It is for me too. What happened to you two?” Brian asked finally
breaking is own silence.

	“He bit me,” I said at the same time as he said, “She bit me.”

	“You bit each other?” Whitney asked. Looking from neck to neck.

	“Yeah,” I said hanging my head.

	“At the same time?” Brian asked us.

	“I think so, I mean Bitchy here had teeth in me at the same time I had
teeth in her.”

	“Damn it. Can’t you two be near each other without freaking out!”
Whitney practically screamed. 

	“Probably not,” I answered.

	“Alright. I don’t want to do this, but I have to get an older, more
powerful person in here to help me alright?” Brian asked Whitney quietly.

	Of course I realized that he was going to get Kevin, but AJ just stood
there still very, very confused. 

	Kevin appeared a little bit later obviously Brian contacted him through
telepathy.

	“What’s going on here?” Kevin asked after seeing mine and AJ’s faces.

	“They bit each other,” Whitney said before we could say anything, then
she looked at us, “You two be quiet for a minute.”

	Kevin who seemed to be deep in thought suddenly jumped up and
started pacing.

	“What’s wrong Kev?” Brian asked concerned.

	“Well, it’s etiquette that if two vampires bite each other they are not
allowed to leave the country without the other.”

	When the full force of what Kevin had said set in everyone in the room
was silent. The fact that they would have more world tours hit home. I would 
have to go with them to Europe. This was a bad thing, a very bad thing.

	“We’re not taking her to Europe with us,” AJ said, “It’s that simple, if
she goes I don’t. And tell me why you aren’t surprised that Bobbi is a 
vampire??”

	“You don’t understand AJ, you can’t leave the country without her, and
she can’t leave the country without you,” Kevin said.

	“How would you know anyway?” AJ asked, obviously more than pissed.

	“Because I’m a warlock.”

	“What?” AJ screeched. 

	“Because I’m a warlock, Brian’s a warlock, and Whitney’s a witch. As
you’ve already found, Bobbi is a vampire. Simple as that. I met Bobbi a little
while ago, she was already a vampire,” Kevin said like it was nothing special.

	“But… but….” AJ was suddenly very frightened of his fellow band
mates.

	“It’s not a problem, it’s normal for us,” Kevin said trying to calm him
down. Kevin noticed my neck and remembered what he’d wanted to ask AJ in
the first place, “AJ why are you a vampire?”

	“Good question,” I muttered.

	“Shut up! Anyway, this one fan came up and propositioned me, of
course I was thinking with something other than my brain and I followed her
back to her hotel room. She proceeded to pull about the same thing as Bobbi
here, except I got some good sex out of it. Oh yeah, and that time I didn’t get
revenge. She left her number, but I never called it, it was too humiliating. I still
have it. The thing is, she left immediately, not telling me anything about my
new condition. End of story, except when I was kissing, shudder at the thought
now, Bobbi here, I felt the incredible urge to drink her blood, so instinct took
over, and I took a bite of her neck,” AJ finished with his head in his hands, but
looking up to send a glare at me.
