Chapter 35 “Bobbi?” Kevin said entering the lounge room followed by Brian and Whitney. “Yeah,” I sighed standing up. This was taking a huge toll on me both mentally and physically. “We called our grandfather, he said he didn’t know what to do about it, other than keep you two as far apart as necessary for the time being,” Kevin said sitting down and motioning for me to do the same. “Do you know how to get a hold of Will?” Brian asked, obviously still getting used to calling the king of vampires ‘Will.’ “Yeah. Here, give me the phone,” I said holding my hand out expectantly. “Grabby, grabby. First off, we want to know where AJ is. Whitney told us that you could talk to him,” Brian said. “Fine,” I said concentrating. I got images of dark streets, obviously driving a car, pulling into a driveway, and opening the door. The walls of the house were covered in gold records and platinum awards. “He went home,” I answered simply. “How do you know?” “Well, he opened the door with a key off his key ring, and the walls were covered with gold and platinum records with your pictures over them,” I answered, grabbing for the phone Brian was holding. “Hang on a second. I’m going to call him at home to make sure,” Brian said moving his hand back. “Hello… J, is that you… You sound terrible, why don’t you come back… Yeah, Bobbi is still here… yeah, that’s how we knew where you were… I know this is a new thing. It can’t be stopped. I communicate with Kev that way… Mmmhmmm… Bobbi and Whitney communicate that way too… Yeah, I know already… See you at the party… Be good… Yeah… Bye Bone,” Brian flipped the phone closed. “He’s meeting us at the Beuna Vista Suites for the party in a few. We’d better get going.” “Party?” I asked. I knew we were staying there, but a party was never mentioned. “Yeah, I kinda forgot to mention that your room was on the top floor, which we booked each room, so we could have a kick ass new year’s party,” Kevin said with a smile. “Cool. Now, can I call Will?” I really wanted to know how to undo what AJ and I’d done. “Fine, here you go,” Brian said good-naturedly tossing the phone at me, “Just don’t kill me with the bill k?”
