A PARTY FOR KIRA by Shannon Wilkins

One day a little Angel named Kira decided to throw a party to celebrate the beginning of summer. She sat down on her bed and began to think of people that she wanted to invite.

Her first person that she decided to put on her list was Bugs Bunny . He had always been a good friend of hers and really knew how to make her laugh. Of course the friend that really knew how to make her giggle was Elmo and the Sons of Donald Duck knew how to make funny faces that always had her laughing as well. To surround herself with such funny people she knew would make the party a blast!

Her friend Hello Kitty was next on her list. She and Kitty had been friends since they were little babies. Of course Thumper and Bambi were a big part of any of her parties.

Once the invitations were sent, Angel Kira went out to buy decorations for the party and lots of great snacks to eat. She knew that Hello Kitty had told her that she was going to bring some extra guests and so did Elmo who always had a big appetite every time he came to a party of hers so she wanted to make sure that she would have plenty for everyone.

The day of the party the skies were a beautiful blue with fluffy white clouds and birds sang in the trees. Angel Kira was so happy that the day looked like it would be perfect as she got up from her bed, checked on the decorations and the snacks and sat down to wait for all of her friends to show up.

Hello Kitty was the first to arrive at the party and she brought some of her kitty friends with her.. There was Spike and his girlfriend Lulu who could not stop running around she was so excited to be there. Then there was Tippy the cat who brought her friend the Pink Pantherwho played the sax for the party guests giving them great music to dance to.

Pooh Bear was late to the party as he had to pick up his friend Tigger who kept bouncing around in his car and another one of Hello Kitty's friends Precious decided to tag along with Pooh and Tigger but could not stop chasing her tail.

One of the kittieswas naughty during the party when they decided to get into Kira's fishbowl while Hello Kitty's friend Darla just kept knodding her head at everything Angel Kira said to her.

By the time the party was over, and all the yummy snacks were eaten and the guests were all tired from dancing to the tune of the Pink Panthers sax they knew it was time to go. They said their goodbyes to Kira and took a hold of Pooh Bears balloon sailing off into the sky waving and telling her that they would be back soon!
