A LETTER FOR MICHAEL

THANK YOU LETTER FOR MICHAEL RYAN FLATLEY Michael, Where do I even begin to say thank you for all you've given us and for all you've shared with so many.... This thank you comes straight from my heart as I am not a great writer,or poet by any means all I can do is just express my most heartfelt feelings to you,and that is what I am going to do here..... I thank the Lord above for creating you in my lifetime to know and to share in your joyous love of dance. I thank your parents also for bringing you into this world....( bless their hearts ) how proud they must be of you.....and the rest of your family also, I know you love them each with all of your heart , and what a joy that is to see when you are with your family... I am thankful for being able to watch and see you dance years before you even became the success that you are now....I love to watch those old inteviews and clippings of you while touring with the Chieftans, and when dancing in the Mayo 5000, you were then an awesome sight to behold, and now even more so.... EUROVISION , Wow!! That alone is a major milestone for you, for us, for the world, because of your insight you and YOU alone dear man have given us this powerful dance of your creativity, but even then, while amazing and breathtaking, I love when you come flying out onto the stage in "Reel Around The Sun" that first amazing leap you took, is the one that captured my heart, and I just love that number.....no other dancer.....(IMHO) will ever hold a candle to you Michael.....You and You alone take the lead in that role....you just shine on stage in Riverdance, and though tragic to you at the time, what a truly blessing in disguise it was that you came to part ways with RD, and then were able to set 'free' in your mind yet another great production that you always carried with you in the back of your mind, you had this all pictured and how each number would look, and what a show it is you created too...Lord Of The Dance is quite a SIGHT to behold, and to beome a part of I thank you for giving us that , and for showing the world that you and you alone did and have this wonderful creativity in your mind, and even though I love this show with all my heart and soul, I never thought you could improve it but you did, in London, at Hyde Park earlier this summer July 25, 1998 is a date I for one will never forget, Yes I made that magical trip to London to see you ONE MORE TIME it was important to me to be able to do this and oh My God, what a show it was.... ( words just can't describe my feeling for it) every move you make, is just pure beauty in motion.....BRAVO MICHAEL!! As I sit here and type this to you I am listening to the FOF CD...and you are playing your most beautiful piece right now "Whispering Wind" Deadly!! its just moves my heart to tears, each and every time I hear you play this number....In your Flute CD back in 1981 WHICH I JUST LOVE...you named it Whistling Wind, but years later, like so many other things, this number you wrote, and played to you have changed it and I LOVE the new version to it...totally breathtaking!!! Thank you for doing this on your FOF VIDEO...I love you and I love this number, you always refer to Ronan Hardiman as GENIOUS... well dearest Michael you too are in that catagory PURE GENIOUS!!! FOF IS JUST AWESOME I love each and every new move you make all the new costumes, are so very very beautiful all the new dance numbers, Brilliant , just Brilliant....and Ronan Hardiman WOW!! once again the two of you are a force to be reckoned with...just imagine the things the two of you alone could do....and HAVE!! I thank you for giving us ( flute Jam to us) now known as Celtic Fire and indeed it is just that! The sound, the Quality, the sharpness of this new video is all just so PERFECT...thank you thank you ....THANK YOU DEAR MICHAEL!!! also what an absolute thrill to be forever immortalized in such a brilliant video too when you see the Banner from a great fan from Canada, that says "Forever Dancing in our Hearts" you will see many VBER's all sitting there together and yes even me...How TRULY wonderful of her and of you to include us all in that way....not once but FIVE TIMES yes yes YES!!.... Your solo number Feet of Flames , oh my God, it just knocked the breath right out of my lungs watching you there 'live' that night...You were like nothing I have ever seen or witnessed in this lifetime,nor will I ever see the likes of again... You and You alone Michael are indeed THELORDOFTHEDANCE! how on God's Green earth do you move so fast and after all that dancing, is just beyond me I was just awestruck as we all were sitting there watching you ....I think the whole place was holding their breath during that number again words fail me to try and describe as to what I was feeling that night and what I still feel now after seeing several times this past week since its release...AWESOME...just plain pure and simply AWESOME!! and you weren't yet finished then either....you came back and continued on with PLANET IRELAND and oh my when the stage started to lift up each platform with the different colors of the Ireland Flag, how proud they all should be of this and for all that you do for them, for us your many,many fans....do you have any idea as to how many different countries where there that night just to see you ??? Well I don't know myself but I do know that not only were there many many of us from the USA...and most of us already friends from meeting each other at other previous shows, but there were many that came from Germany, Denmark, Belgium not to mention the many there from London and surrounding areas....who knows , oh yes also from Australia,, Canada, Geeezz.. now how could I forget them??? fans from Ireland were there....and we all gathered to see you perform this huge one off show....Michael you put your body to the ultimate test that night racing , and running up and down that HUGE stage...and dancing and smiling the whole time do you know that our hearts were in our throats the whole time while watching you do this?? Your kicks were as high or higher than I'd ever seen that night....The beautiful Bernadette has become so regal and more beautiful than ever.....Gillian also has become more of a regal lady herself...I JUST LOVE THOSE TWO Daire, was the absolute meanest I had ever seen him .....and when you two danced the Duel, and those highkicks to each other, well once again my heart was in my throat the whole time....DEADLY IT WAS ....JUST DEADLY!! well Michael to end this just again this is just a bit a wee THANK YOU meant for you, to tell you ONE MORE TIME...how wonderful you are and that WE LOVE YOU !!!
