Jimmy's Wonder Years

Jimmy Fallon was born on September 19th, 1974 to Jim and Gloria Fallon. At a very young age he started watching “Saturday Night Live” and he soon became determined to be on the show. As kids, Jimmy and his sister, Gloria, would perform SNL skits at their parents' parties. When he was 17, he did his Pee Wee Herman impression that won him best impressionist at a local club. He attended the College of St. Rose where he was majoring in computer science but moved to LA during his last semester. A few years later he got a second chance to audition for “Saturday Night Live.” At 24, he became a featured player and a year later was promoted as a cast member. He’s now in his third season on the show and is also one of the news anchors on Weekend Update. Jimmy has also written a book with his sister called “I hate this place: The pessimists guide to life.” This book consists of humorous emails that him and his sister sent to each other while he was living in LA and Gloria was in Boston. This is the first book ever written on the internet (now the Guinness book of world records should record that). :) Jimmy can also been seen in “Almost Famous,” he played Stillwater’s new band manager, Dennis Hope. He also won NY magazines 2001 funniest comedian of the year award. He’s also done a movie which he starred in before his SNL days called “The Entrepreneurs” which hasn’t been released yet. Wow! Keep your eye on this amazing guy! Although to some he’s almost famous but to his long time, loyal Fallon Aids, he already is.

a.k.a: Just One Look

Almost Famous (2000)--Dennis Hope

Band of Brothers (2001)--2nd Lt. George Rice [10th Armored, Episode 5]

*The Entrepreneurs was made before Jimmy was a cast member of SNL. About a year after he was promoted to cast member status, I had got an instant message from the production company that was involved with the movie. I was asked to spread the word about the movie because they were looking for a studio to distribute it. They didn't find a studio until about 2000 so that's why the year on the dvd/video package says 2000. But I'm sure you all noticed how young he looks (not that he looks old now) in the movie. The film was NOT made during his years at SNL.
