-1989- En Vogue was conceived and put together by the production team Denzil Foster and Thomas Mc'Elroy, both former members of Club Nouveau. En Vogue are: from right to left, Cindy Herron, Terry Ellis, Dawn Robinson, and Maxine Jones. En Vogue member Cindy Herron appeared in a "McDonald's" commercial shortly before the group was started. |

-1990- En Vogue's first album born to sing was released, which sold 3 million copies (world wide). Singles: Hold On, Lies, Don't Go, and You Don't Have To Worry |

-1991- En Vogue released the album "Remix to Sing" which featured 6 songs from "Born to Sing, but Remixes. En Vogue appeared in the television series "Circus of the stars. Singing: "Hold On" and "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy." En Vogue member Cindy Herron appeared in the film "Juice" which also starred rap artist Tupac Shukur and Omar Epps. Cindy played Yolonda. |

-1992- En Vogue released the album Funky Divas which sold more than 5 million copies. (world wide) Singles: "My Lovin" (Your never gonna get it), "Giving Him Something He Can Feel," "Free Your Mind," "Give It Up Turn It Loose," and "Love Don't Love You" |

-1993- En Vogue released a 6 song EP with remixes from the previous album Funky Divas and two new songs. The EP was titled Runaway Love, which featured the hit "Whatta Man" Salt-N-Pepa featuring En Vogue and the song Runaway Love. En Vogue appeared in 3 episodes of "Roc" live on Fox. Maxine played Roc's niece, Jackie and Cindy played Joy's girlfriend Kim. The group played a female vocal group getting out of Baltimore projects, calling themselves Downtown Divas. En Vogue also appeared in In Living Color with Wonda singing "My Lovin" |

-1995- En Vogue member Terry Ellis did a solo project titled "Southern Gal" Singles: "What did I do to you?" and "Where Ever You Are" To go along with her album she created her own fragrance line called "Terry Ellis: Southen Exposure." En Vogue also had a bit part in the film "Batman Forever" They played some Hookers who solicit Robin in a street scene, but they wanted "Batman" not "Batboy." |

-1996- After an almost 3 year hiatus, summer of 96' En Vogue bounce back with a track titled "Don't Let Go" on the Motion Picture "Set It Off" soundtrack. The song scores a #2 on the Billboard charts. En Vogue do a wonderful performance at the Soul Train Awards. Shortly after their performance Dawn Robinson announces that she's leaving the group. |

-1997- En Vogue release a new track called "Whatever" a few months later they release the album EV3 (originally titled Friendship) the album went platinum. Singles: "Don't Let Go," "Whatever," and "Too Gone Too Long." En Vogue appeared on the "Jamie Fox Show" and the "Wayans Brothers" on the "WB" They also do a song for the "Soul Food" soundtrack called "You Are The Man" and to top that off, they lend their voices to HBO for the cartoon series Happily Ever After. En Vogue do the voices of some Barbie Dolls that come to life. |

-1999- En Vogue landed a track on the "Why Do Fools Fall In Love" Soundtrack called "No Fool No More" En Vogue Release the Best Of, which includes the best of their tracks along with a home video which featured their music videos. |

-2000- En Vogue release a new album titled "Masterpiece Theatre" (Originally titled "Something New, Something Old, Something Borrowed, Something Cool,) Singles: Riddle, shortly after an interview on BET's "All" En Vogue were dropped by their long time label Elektra, also losing another member Maxine Jones left the group to take care of her son. |

-2001- En Vogue Welcomes new member Amanda Cole! En Vogue make their first TV appearance at the Soul Train Lady Of Soul Awards, to present an award. There En Vogue introduced new member Amanda Cole and disscus the status of Ex member Maxine Jones. They also disscus their Christmas Cd and their follow-up to Masterpiece Theatre which is set for a 2002 release date. The Very Best of En Vogue is also released this year. |
