Hello and welcome to my page.

My name's Sarah, and I'm 21 year old native of Denver, Colorado. I am currently just a part-time employed and single loser, but I am going to school, although not a huge amount of classes. Mostly photo, which is what I hope to do professionally some day (you can view some of my work by scrolling down to the index and clicking on the "My picture page" link). But I'm interested in so many things it's been difficult for me to pick just one. Which is why you'll find a pretty eclectic pick of stuff on this website. At the moment, I still live at home with my parents and one older sister, Elisabeth. I also share living space with several pets as well.
One of my first loves is music, I love every thing about it, and listen to lots of different kinds of it. I play guitar, and have been for about 5 years now, and I also like to try and write my own songs, in the hopes that one day I'll be able to put them to music (good luck). Some of my favorite musicians are: Rufus Wainwright (I have a site for him! See below), Filter, Goo Goo Dolls, Matchbox Twenty, Silverchair, VAST, Nick Drake, Third Eye Blind and many more.

I also have a large obsession with movies, I've seen a lot of movies! So many in fact that I like to include movie lines in my conversations (Don't be frightened, it's all in good fun). Some of my fav, movies: almost anything with Marilyn Monroe (and old movies in general), Moulin Rouge, The Indiana Jones movies, Braveheart, The Lord Of The Rings trilogy (hehe, can you tell yet that I like big movies?), Star Wars, Tim Burton Movies (woo-hoo! Al hands for TB!), and basically anything with Mel Gibson, Kevin Costner, John Travolta, Ewan McGregor, Nicolas Cage, or Johnny Depp in it. I'm not a big watcher of television, but I'm addicted to the BBC America, it's so funny how the US keeps ripping off all their shows.
I'm also a big reader and love the works of: Stephen King, John Grisham, Edna Ferber, William Faulkner, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Edgar Allen Poe, Daniel Handler, and most recently Virginia Woolfe.

You also may have noticed I have a large obsession with all things retro, mostly from the 20's-50's. Like old movie stars/movies (Especially Marilyn stuff, I even dressed up as her once, check it out here) and also the music (I even share a birthday with Frank Sinatra, Dec. 12). I'll be putting a favorites site up soon that will hopefully have all of this on it.
Lastly, I also play and watch a lot of ice hockey. I love it. So far I've only been taking Hockey classes, but will be joining a league very soon. My favorite team is, of course, the Colorado Avalanche. I have a collection of player autographs and cards for them, but mostly concentrate on stuff for my favorite player: Alex Tanguay.
