By ANNA VINCENT PULICKAL
Jesus
called me to go with Him
On
a challenging journey by boat,
"O!
It's just my passing whim, surely He isn't calling me
to
cross this treacherous moat".
But
turning to the Bible; to Luke chapter eight
I
realised, he called his disciples to the cross the mighty lake.
So
I started out, as did the great disciples
But
terrible sin; my poor soul did stiple.
For
caught caught up with sailing and controlling my own life
I
neglected my loving Lord and his absence brought me strife
Then
He fell asleep and fierce winds blew o'er the lake
Just
as the Bible says in Luke chapter eight
The
boat filled with water and scared this poor boater.
So
I cried, at the brink of my demise
"Master!
Master! Don't you care? I 'm about to die. "
Jesus
awoke and His face shone with a fatherly smile
Jesus
commanded the wind, "Be quit! "and said to the waves, "Be still! "
The
wind died down, there was a calm, the waves obeyed His will
I
thanked the Lord profusely for saving from scathe
Then
I turned to Mark chapter four and heard Jesus gently implore.
Why
are you frightened? Have you still no faith?
