Thérese Tanguay-Dion fell in love with showbiz during all those years that she was observing Céline and her team in the coulisses. "I admire all these people who make showbiz. When Julie Snyder made me a proposal to make television, I wanted to enter that world. I think because I also have the heart of artist." The interest for the art of cooking, she inherited from her mother. "I started to make bread at the age of 12 or 13. I move around a lot in the house, but I always return to my kitchen!". Maman Dion is also a generous woman. The Achilles Tanguay-foundation (after the name of her father) helps families in need.
During the winter, Maman Dion flies away towards Florida, where she settles down in the house of her daughter Céline, together with her husband, Adhémar. The mom of the most famous Quebec artist is serene and funny. "I wonder what I did to deserve a television show at 72! I bite in it as I bite in life, I hope to share my philosophy with the people at home".
