I have only started to watch "Family Feud" when Ray Combs was around. I was anticipating him on the Game Show Network when I finally got my cable network to put that in our system. However, when 2:30pm PT rolled on, there was a different host to my suprised. It was much more older and the host was very different. I had thought that Ray Combs was the best, but this old original guy, by the name of Richard Dawson impressed me. With his dry humor, his mannerisms and comical jokes, I seem to enjoy and laugh about it. Even more, I get a kick out of it, watching Richard Dawson on Family Feud and Match Game on the weekends. I guess that he's the only man for Family Feud and the future hosts are nothing put posers. It was nice seeing him hosting a series of game shows on the Game Show Network. Now that some 20 years have gone by I found that a lot of the current programs are terrible. I started re-watching the older shows and fell back in love with Richard. I recently watched The Devils Brigade, great shots of Richard in a kilt. If you haven't seen it you will have to watch carefully for him. He is in a lot of scenes but is hard to pick out because of the quality of the film. Absolutely love everything his has done. This is a great site as well. It aired from 1976-1985. His second Family Feud was aired in 1994-1995. Richard is going to be 68 on November 20th. Richard was also on Hogans Heros. Richard is currently living in Beverly Hiils with his wife wich he met on Family Feud and his 10 year old daughter. Richard also been on Math Game. I had to state though, that introducing someone does not have anything to do with what those people do after they've been introduced. If we didn't introduce people, nobody would know each other.
