Hi, from Mike!

Hi Sonja,

Went to the 50th SHCI reunion. Great to see many old friends especially Lorne D. Asked after Sally Lithgow (r.i.p.) and found your Angelfire website when I tried to find out more about what happened to her.

I'm another person you made an impression on! :-) I've done community theatre for the last 40 years and was intrigued to see your Oklahoma! review.

I went to Queens, graduating as an engineer in 1977. Worked at Ontario Hydro/Hydro One until I retired last year. Married with two girls, now both in university.

The reunion has made me feel a little nostalgic so please pardon this email out of the blue! Hope you're doing well.

Mike

SG,

I got a message from your email address but the corporate security system detected it had potential of a phishing email, so I reply to it directly.

MW is still a nice chap, still the same...was one of the smartest, techiest kind of friends. I always hung around smart friends ...at least people smarter than me...some of it rubbed off..... MW was deep into electronics and pre-computers waaay before computers were so part of our lives.

I do know that SL died at a very young age of cancer and her name did not come up in last years’ reunion conversation ...either blood or bone C , cant’ remember which.... I would say I knew of this around and about the 10th SHCI anniversary and recall it was a shocker as I believe it was the first death of our peers from SHCI.

I’m not on vacation per se although take extra days during the summer to steady my pace a bit and do charitable work some of those days as well as doss around. However this week have a family death which takes me away from home and office . Last month I had another very close relative ascend as well. Makes me appreciate every breath I take. Every step I take. ....wait that starting to sound like the song from Sting. But it’s true. Except “I’ll be watching you” part. That line is just plain creepy.

Of course people remember you, silly.

Ta
