Britney at current time is 18. Britney enjoys colors that stand out. One of Britneys favorite hobbies besides singing is shopping. She also enjoys romance novels and spending days in the beach. Another thing that Britney enjoys doing a lot is traveling. Britney Spears was born in Kentwood, Louisiana. Britney has right now a contract with Jive Records.

Britney has released an album which so far has had a bit of everything from reggae beats of the song "Soda Pop" to the soul filled song of "You’ve Cot It All". Britney success has mainly come because of her intoxicating vocal style. Britney says "I want to be an artist that everyone can relate to, that for me is being young, happy and fun".
Despite her age and adolescent attitude that comes with the age, Britney’s life has been anything but traditional. Britney has been performing in just about every were ever since she was born. At the age of eight Britney when to the big acting career when she tried out for Disney’s "Mickey Mouse Club" in Atlanta. They told her that she was too young to be in the show but too talented to be just left out in the cold like that, so a producer of the show helped Britney secure an agent in New York City. After that she spent the next three summers studying at the renowned off-Broadway dance center and also at the Proffessional Performing Arts School. By this time she had started to make her climb to the top by appearing in commercials and off- Broadway shows including the 1991 comedy, "Ruthless", she says: "at the age of ten I was playing this really bad child who seems real sweet but she’s evil too. It was so much fun!".
Finally at the age of eleven, Britney was able to appear on the show "Mickey Mouse Club". She also lasted two years filming and performing on popular children’s TV shows filmed in Orlando.
After all of this excitement in her life Britney returned back to Kentwood for one completely normal year of high school at the age of fourteen. She says: "It was fun for a while but I started getting itchy to get out again and see the world".
When Britney once again begun her career she went back to New York to pursue her dream. She says: "I had always wanted to be a singer". "It’s what I always wanted to do ever since I was little".
At the age of 15 an audition for an all girl vocal group led her to developing a future solo career as a pop singer as well as continuing her high school studies with tutors. She says: "I need a lot of help in geometry and Spanish!".
Now at the age of 18 Britney has a great career as a solo pop artist. She has released 4 singles already!(Baby one more time, Sometimes, Crazy and From the Bottom of my Broken Heart). She has inspired many people in many ways and she is a great role model.
