In order to accomplish the unique quality sought after, I decided to personally handle some of the details of the event. Of course, this meant more work for me, but I did it with pleasure as it allowed me to explore a creative side I just recently discovered! Some of the items I created are described below.

I decided to make my own guest book because I wanted it to be very personal.  I used ivory chiffon and lavender ribbon to decorate the cover and embellished it with lavender tulle, a satin rose and ribbon.  I used velvet ribbon for tying.  Inside there are lined pages edged in gold.  Each page has a poetry verse on Love and a miniature painting on  romance.  The pages are held together with mock gold wedding bands.  Please write your wishes!

The stem of this rose is the tool you will use to inscribe your thoughts to us on our guest book above.  I used the same materials for the base and painted a gold milky pen.  I affixed some fabric petals and rolled ribbon to look like a rose.  Voila!

I searched for the perfect scent for us to enjoy at the reception.  The winning scent is "Passion."  How appropriate!  Our tables will be decorated with these centerpieces I designed.  I basically decorated the base of the candle with lavender ribbon and affixed fabric roses and leaves to the base of the candle.  Topped off with a feather butterfly, it makes for a soft touch.

These are the candles we will use to light up our unity candle.  Mom supplied me with the candle holders and I just affixed the flower bunch with spray beads.  For our unity candle I chose a candle of two white doves which was given to me as a gift.  Thank you Yvette!   You supplied us with this beautiful detail, and the verses for the guest book.

I painted these frames individually and inserted pictures of angels.  Each family will get two along with a camera and something sweet.  You can either keep the angel portraits, or insert your favorite reception picture.  The choice is up to you!
