PREVIOUS Part 2 of 9 in Bessie's Florida Trip. NEXT
March 4, 2001 We took a break in Atlanta before pushing on to Florida. The weather was nice and Bessie enjoyed stretching her (four) legs. The first picture is on the corner of Peachtree Street. I'm told most streets in Atlanta are named Peachtree, so it's amazing we didn't get lost. Next we wandered over to the Olympic Park. This scenic area was built for the 1996 Olympic Games. Bessie enjoyed watching the fountains in the shape of the Olympic rings. Finally, we took a tour of the CNN headquarters. (Yes that's Bessie resting inside the large C.) Bessie tried to get on TalkBack Live but was upset to find they only do the show on weekdays. Maybe next time.
