September 1, 2000 Hollywood was the last destination during our vacation and Bessie was excited to see all the historic landmarks. Mann's Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd. is one of the more popular tourist destinations, originally opening in 1927. People love to see the cement hand and footprints of America's favorite movie stars. Bessie was no different. We took her picture next to Marilyn Monroe's prints, as she is one of Bessie's role models. In fact, Bessie hopes to someday be as famous as Marilyn Monroe. We then headed down to one of the most famous street corners in America: Hollywood & Vine. Bessie didn't want to be mistaken for a hooker so she didn't stand on the corner too long. Finally, we visited Universal Studio's CityWalk where there are many shops and restaurants including the Hard Rock Cafe.
