2000 was an amazing year for carin koch. not only did she have her best season at the time, she competed on her first solheim cup and made the winning putt for the europeans.she also crossed the one million dollar mark in career earnings at the evian masters in france, and won her first professional victory at the chrysler open in her home country of sweden, a european tour event. she went on to team up with sophie gustafson to win the team world cup in ireland.
