A favourite of both MuffinMan and CindyLover (and indeed of many men), Halle's acting chops were evident well before His Antipodean Grumpiness Russell Crowe said "Halle Berry, Monsters' Ball" at the Oscars in 2002 - witness Alex Haley's Queen for TV in 1993 and her Emmy-winning turn in Introducing Dorothy Dandridge. She's also notorious for her (reportedly) half-million-dollar topless scene in Swordfish, her fairly rocky personal life and one or two run-ins with the law... but she's also come as close as possible to sharing the limelight for a Bond epic. And if it wasn't for her Boomerang and The Flintstones would have been even worse. Halle Berry: sweet and tangy...
Recommended viewing: Halle is beautiful enough for anything of hers to be tolerable (even Strictly Business), but The Wedding (for TV), X-Men, The Last Boy Scout, Jungle Fever, Die Another Day and others come to mind. (Interestingly, in The Last Boy Scout she was reluctant to bare all. How times have changed...)
