Katie Holmes
It was Christmas in July - The Guardian's John Patterson on Katie's topless scene in The Gift (a movie Paramount Classics released in the summer).
Last year I lamented that Channel 4's scheduling of Dawson's Creek made it difficult for me to study the appealing Katie in the manner she deserves. (This will now be a bit harder, as the series is about to end.) The situation hasn't changed - Sunday afternoons? No - but she's been quicker off the mark in establishing herself in non-Joey mode than most of her DC co-stars (The Rules of Attraction with James van der Forehead - er, I mean Beek - notwithstanding). That makes up for it. Smile, Katie... ahhhh.
