Signs that you're getting older: when ladies who would have been a must for FHM in the early 1980s had FHM been around in the early 1980s start playing mothers; the Oscar-winning ex of Alec Baldwin is now on screen as the mother of Eminem in 8 Mile. This doesn't make her any less hot, though... and note the absence of co-star Brittany Murphy in this year's lineup. (Aside: though CindyLover is no fan of rap or of Mr. Mathers, Basinger + Murphy = worth a look). And at least she didn't make Thomas and the Magic Railroad (ouch).
Recommended viewing: The Marrying Man (though awful, Basinger makes quite the sultry chanteuse), Nadine, My Stepmother Is An Alien, Never Say Never Again, No Mercy, Final Analysis, L.A. Confidential (obviously!) and almost anything else.
