Dan & Barb, on December 27, 1982, on the set of Trading Places:

"It was December 27, 1982 on the set of Trading Places. I received the coolest Christmas Present a 10 year old could ever receive. I met Dan Aykroyd. My dad was a Philadelphia Police Officer and he was detailed to the set of Trading Places and his Lieutenant knew how much I liked Dan and told my dad it was okay to bring me down to 30th Street Station to meet Dan.

Dan was really very cool. I got my picture taken with him and then he took me aside and spent time with me discussing many things...he was so nice, right on the level I remember he didn't treat me like a little kid...he talked to me like an equal something I have always remembered and respected. He asked me questions like he was really interested. We spoke of the Blues Brothers. He asked me my favorite parts which was fun. He told me all about John Landis and how intelligent he was and talked to me about the movie they were making that was very cool, too. And we spoke respectfully about John Belushi. It was a day I will never forget and a Christmas present I will never forget. The movie Trading Places will always hold a special place in my heart because of December 27, 1982 the day I met Dan Aykroyd." -Barb
