So if you couldn't tell, I don't meet random celebs like I used to, these days, I tend to meet more bands up here in Northern California and kinda like it that way. Anyways, here are some pix from the first half of 2008, enjoy!

January 16, 2008: I flew down to LA for Simple Plan, one of the craziest trips I've gone on! Flew in by myself, took a 2 hour Metro trip around the city to The Troubadour, sat in line ALL DAY with luggage, then finally got into the show. Unfortunately, the venue had NO COAT CHECK so I had to carry the luggage into the show and keep it with me the whole time. I hadn't seen SP since like 05 or 06 so I was really excited! After the show, I went out back to meet the guys, and only Chuck and Sebastien came out at first. I made some friends in line so they went around the front and called us to let us know David was out front so we went around and met him too! I was so glad they remembered me! The we looked inside and saw Pierre meeting people inside! Luckily they let us back in so I got to meet him and that was cool because he was like "HEY! Long time no see!" And gave me a hug which was super sweet! Talked to him for a minute, told him I just flew in for the show and he told me he was glad I made it, awww! After that, Seb was back inside so I actually got a picture with him. Jeff had left right after the show so he was the only one I didn't get to meet, but I am really glad I got to see mah boys!

February 12-13, 2008: We had quite an adventure over the two days. Had a tailgate party of our own across the street from The Boardwalk in Orangevale. Then we got a couple fav new bands called The Cab and We The Kings. After the show, i literally changed into PJs then went over to meet Cobra Starship. Shared our heart lollipops with them and got our pix, fun times! The next day they played San Francisco where we got to meet em again. Suarez liked my sweater! And Gabe even picked Asnhi up for a picture, awww!

February 12-13, 2008: Trace Cyrus from Metro Station

February 13, 2008: Travis from We The Kings, peep the shirt. Need I say more? I think not. Good kid, good kid.

February 13, 2008: Robin Williams @ Cobra Starship (WTF?!). Yeah we were as surprised as anyone! Since we are over 21, we get in and out privileges, so got to meet him outside.

March 2008: Metro Station at the Fillmore, got to meet the band in the venue, Ant was such a sweetie!

April 3, 2008: The Starting Line's last Bay Area show. The guys were so appreciative for the years of support, so it was a bittersweet moment. *Tear*

April 9, 2008: The Cab (and Travis from We The Kings). My two new favs from 08. We drove all the way to Orangevale to see the bands and they are such good kids! I was told Singer likes *NSYNC so I had to wear the shirt! Sure enough, he had a comment, lol.

April 10, 2008: Motion City Soundtrack opened for Panic At The Disco so like clockwork, got new pix! Love them!

April 10-11, 2008: FINALLY met Panic At The Disco after 3 years! Met Spence outside the venue and after the show on the 2nd night, the whole band was allowed to sign for the fans! Brendon literally was signing at midnight which meant it was officially his 21st birthday! We totally offered to buy him a shot and he said "Aww thanks! Ya know, I so would, but we have to leave right after this!" And he was for real for real! After we met the band, went up the street to get my car and when we drove around, the bus had already taken off! At least I finally got to meet em though!

Movin 99.7 Presents Stevie B at Avalon in Santa Clara. I was working the event so since we had our own meet and greet, I got to meet him! My older cousins were a tad envious! lol

James Lafferty signing @ Macy's Union Square. Aminta and I waited in line for hours and when James arrived, the girls went crazy! I fake boppered as I walked up to him "OMG ::hand fan::" and he chuckled but I still wonder if he thought I was serious, lol. We tried meeting afterwards but he got in an SUV underground we weren't able to see him again *tear*

June 2008: Chris Gutierrez aka "Hey Chris" did a poetry reading in a really small cafe in Oakland and every time he came to the Bay we missed him so we were really excited to finally see him. Such a sweetie!

June 21, 2008: Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heroes. Gym Class did an acoustic set in the Myspace tent on Warped Tour and I was off to the side, but up in the front so when the set was over I quickly asked for a pic and got it! FINALLY!

June 21, 2008: Gabe Saporta from Cobra Starship. The Cobra signing at Warped was the craziest shit ever! TONS of kids all over the place, but since Gabe knows Aminta, we snuck up in the line and got a pic, yay! They were signing so long that warped was actually over and the clean up crews were out so as soon as you were done, you were led out the gates, CRAZY!
