June 30, 2007: Honda Civic Tour 2007 hit the Bay Area. The day got off to a rocky start and I was less then thrilled and I was not even enthused. Once we got in the venue though, that all changed. The show was AMAZING. You couldn't ask for a better line up. Cobra Starship went first, then Paul Wall(who we didn't see because we were in the M&G line for Cobra), then The Academy Is..., then +44, then Fall Out Boy. Seriously, the opening acts did what they were supposed to do, they got the crowd ready for the headliner. I was so excited, and even more excited after I got Travis Barker's drumstick. It was hilarious because it bounced off my cousin's face first. I know it hurt but it was so funny. Seriously, what are the odds? It was great. Anyways, FOB came out popping out of the stage hella *NSYNC style and the show was complete with streamers, pyro, and even a costume change. They were really awesome and Patrick's voice...what more can I say, it's amazing. "Beat It" was definitely a highlight, and then when they did two of my favorite FOB songs in a row, I screamed hella bopper style. So yeah, it was a great show and I wish I was able to keep my tickets for the San Diego show but at least I know Alyssa got good use out of it! Next tour, it is so on!
