The actual proposal took place on a beach while the couple was on vacation in Panama City, Florida. He asked her and lit off fireworks. Most of her family was there.

Other Facts: Their wedding invitation featured the couple dressed in Halloween costumes (Arquette was a squirrel and Cox wore a blond wig) and the caption read: "We're nuts about each other." ; To get the ring to fit on Courtney's finger at their wedding, David licked her finger.
