FINNEY SEARCHES FOR A KIDNAPPED CHILD WHO'S THREATENED BY MURDEROUS FATHER -- Finney (Josh Stewart) races against time when a frightened boy (guest star Zack Savage) he's befriended calls him in desperation after being kidnapped by his tormented and abusive father -- who has already repeatedly stabbed the boy's mother. Davis (Coby Bell) joins him on the case, as Finney tries to put aside his family's recent grief and focus on tracing the child's location before the father completes his death wish. In addition, a confused Carlos (Anthony Ruivivar) comes to a shaky understanding with his romantic partner, fellow paramedic Levine (Yvonne Jung).
