  • NME will be performing at Best Hits Café this comming Saturday the 17th. Come see us perform live and give us free cupcakes and also money. We've still got copies of Lower Than Low-Fi available and will be selling them at the show for $5 each.
Also here's a random pick of some guy from Norway about to explode:

  • The members of NME have begun finishing up the new album entitled, One Foot in a Bucket of Poop. This album will be the first full-band album since Thee Redd Discc, I suppose. The songs are being recorded as you live and breathe. This album will include some of the massive NME hits of this decade, such as:
    I Love you Mr.Wagenberg
    The Christian Rock Song
The Man Who Lead the Way
    I Like Rice
    Erosion and Deposition
...and even an acoustic alternate version of Live Bees if you're lucky.
All those among countless others will be there for your listening pleasure! Oh and here's a pic of the cover of this album by our very own Ben Reed:

  • Well, Nocturnal Mucus Envelope has finally had its first ever live public performance. This show took place at Best Hits Café in Danbury. The line up for that evening was Ben Reed, Dan Piro, and Dan Soto. The show went really well, and we went back for a second show at Best Hits 2 weeks later. Our soulful co-lead singer Brendan Apy joined us for this performance as well. Hopefully we'll have more shows there and in other places around Connecticut.
The guy Mark who set us up with a gig there was even nice enough to put up this little delight in the window of Best Hits:

So we've recorded quite a bit of new material... we just released our first full length album, Lower Than Lo-Fi about a month ago. We're currently working on our next album, One Foot in a Bucket of Poop, and pretty soon, we'll be re-releasing Thee Redd Discc, totally remastered and crap. It'll be good. We're doing small coffee house shows in Danbury currently and maybe going on tour this summer. Hmm. Check back here for updates every once in a while when I'm bored enough to update this page.
