Filmed - Aug, 1992 – Sept, 1992
For
the Moment is an age old story about star-crossed lovers set in the time
of war. The principals are an Australian pilot (Russell) in Canada
leaning combat flying during W.W.II and the married local girl he meets
and falls for. The movie is a charming look at another time.
Russell
is lovely in this role, he is a charismatic, easy going bloke with a
natural leadership ability, courage and a heart. He managed to
create a thoroughly likable man who behaves within the parameters of
honor and reason while involved in a strange relationship. Highlights
of this film are Russell dancing the jitterbug and reciting "High
Flight". This movie is Canada based and a bit difficult to find, but it is worth the search, many Russell fans name it as one of their favorites. Click on the thumbnail images below to see bigger versions of each photo. |
