Global
Brands: "In addition to global brands, we also
have global celebrities. Jennifer Lopez is just as well
known in India as she is in America. And so is Tom Cruise,
Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bill
Gates, Jack Welch, Bill Clinton, George Bush and a host of
other global celebrities." |
"Premiere Magazine: The latest issue
has The Making of Master and Commander on the cover with a
very small pic of Russ in the corner. Inside is a four
page spread with many pictures, most of them new." |

The UK Times
blurb on Russell's Greatest Fights: "RUSSELL
CROWE’S GREATEST FIGHTS Thursday Channel 4, 10pm --
Imagine you are Russell Crowe. You spend all day in a
Roman amphitheatre. You stop off on the way home to have a
bite to eat and a couple of drinks. A few bits of crockery
get thrown around in a playful kind of way. Next thing you
know, there’s this other bloke giving you a look and —
bang — suddenly you are in the middle of a punch-up and
your face is all over the papers and it is not even your
fault. In this programme, Crowe’s friends and colleagues
discuss his reputation as a hellraiser, with CCTV footage
showing the Antipodean gladiator in action." |

Do we need to know?
Manly actor Russell Crowe underwent the ultimate test of
his manhood earlier this year: abstinence.
According to Zap2it.com, the Gladiator deprived himself
of sex for a few months before his marriage so that the
wedding night would be . . . let's just say
"special."
Crowe married longtime girlfriend Danielle Spencer in
April. They're expecting a baby boy in January.
"We spent a lot of time apart, as in not sharing
the same bed," Crowe said. "I was determined
there would be a lot of pent-up energy on the big
night."
Even those of us who have trouble keeping up with the
Count on Sesame Street can figure out that his plan
worked so well that the couple conceived their child on
the honeymoon.

The
NY Post - Liz Smith: "RUSSELL CROWE is said to
have undergone a change from once-rowdy actor since his
marriage to Danielle Spencer and impending fatherhood. He
tells friends that he "prays to God" his days as
a sex symbol are over. He covets real character roles now.
(Russell has gained weight and seems in no hurry to shed
his burly heft.) I did note that at his wedding, Russell,
so often a scowler, looked goofy with happiness. The Oscar
winner appears next in the epic "Master and
Commander," and from the look of that seagoing
adventure, it seems as if we're in for a treat from
Fox." |
