Josh slowly opened his eyes, barely managing it because his eyes were so puffy as he壇 cried through his memories and the thoughts that had followed. He kept going over everything in his mind, wondering what they could have done differently. It was hard to let go and it exhausted him physically to think about it.
Sinking further into his mother痴 embrace while closing his eyes, he couldn稚 help but wish it were Justin痴 strong arms that held him close.
Tears fell unnoticed down his cheeks as the sound of the radio penetrated his haze of pain and misery. He壇 turned it on earlier unable to bear the silence of an empty house. He forced himself to listen to it, the sound and the songs, to keep the thoughts and pain at bay. It wasn稚 long before his exhaustion got the best of him and he slowly slipped into oblivion.
Josh cried himself to sleep as the song with the oddly appropriate lyrics and the melody that reflected his sadness and heartache played in the background.
