Good Charlotte and Sum 41 October 26, 2004: We went over to San Jose Event center early to try to meet GC and Sum 41 and we did. pretty much...we met Benji, Joel, Billy and Steve-O before the show then afterwards we met Benji and Joel again. It was hot. Before and after the show, Joel was in a REALLY good mood, normally he isn't chatty and sometimes doesn't even stop but we had a conversation with him for like 5 minutes. We were asking about a new tour and stuff and suggesting songs to play and he fricken asked us "got any suggestions of who we could tour with?" lol. we were like wtf...Joel values our opinions? since when? lol. Our suggestions: Simple Plan, Yellowcard, NFG...50 cent. lmao. good shit man. anyways, I went into the show by myself. As I was walking up to the gate, Joel walks out the side door and I was behind and was like "oh god, he is gonna think i am stalking him" and then some lady is standing aside asking people if they need tickets and she straight up asks Joel if he needs tickets! I was like OH HELL NO. I walked up right after and was like "you know you just asked the lead singer of good charlotte if he needed tickets right?" and she was all "oh I didn't know, I am just here with my kids." It was quite amusing. Anyways, I went in and decided I was gonna get in the mix. I headed to the floor and inched my way in. Somehow I ended up in the full blown pit in the middle of the floor and was being pushed around, grabbed, leaned on, elbowed, ect. I saw Hazen Street and they werent that bad then Sum 41 came out and I got into it a lil more and then when GC came out, I really got into it. It was quite fun. I love Joel hitting the notes, it's hot. The show was awesome and totally worth it. I am too lazy to go into details now but maybe later. After the show, we were waiting for the rest of the guys who hadn't come out earlier but they just fed Benji and Joel to the wolves and sent them out. We got pix again and got the rest of the Benji autographs I needed so I was happy. I think in my pic with Joel it was the first time his arm was around me too, so thats even hotter, lmao. We finally left cause we figured the other guys weren't gonna come out so yeah...that was that.
