11/2/04: I am gonna try to make it short...but you know me...I have lots to say. Anyways, I am just gonna start with "WE ARE SICK FUCKS!" lol. We flew...yes flew...to another state to see Simple Plan. Frequent Flier miles rule!!!!! Pretty much free flight...10 bux each...not bad eh? So yeah, we jumped on the opportunity and planned our day trip. We ended up choosing Wisconsin...the frequent flier miles led us there. So yeah, we hop on a plane a couple days later and are on our way to Chicago then on to Milwaukee. We got there at about 4:30ish and got ready immediately. We took a cab to the venue and got our will-call tix. So yeah, I am not even sure of the order. I think Sebastien was first...he walked out and we chatted a bit about the cd and the sales and what not and got pix and he signed our cds and we had him do a video shout out for our site. Good shit. And yeah, we used our "Nor Cal" vocab and he was all "'hella', thats such a nor cal thing to say" lol...we can't help it, born and raised here, you automatically pick up the lingo...and "Hella" has been in my vocab since I was about 8. So yeah, that was funny. Anyways yeah, Chuck walked out and we told him we flew out today and he asked how the flight was, lmao. So yeah, chatted more, got pix and got autographs and got another video shout out, Seb all walks in the background and jumps in, funny shit. Anyways yeah, Jeff walks up and was all "hey, how's it going?" lol, all casual, we chatted and got pix and autographs too. So yeah, Pierre was in there somewhere, he chatted a lil and we got pix and then when he came back I had him sign my cds, good shit. David was last...like almost always. Lol, we got pix and autographs and chatted a bit too, good times man. So yeah, after we saw David, we went in the venue. Hit up the merch booth, Pat...working like a slave got our shirts. I got a lil tipsy...kinda funny, what a fitting place. lol. So yeah, we sat out side for Jersey and Plain White T's...I did want to see them but we figured we may as well save our energy for SP's set. We did go in during Mae cause we figured we needed to work our way towards the front so slowly but surely we got there...thanks to the fucking drunk ass holes pushing us. I was thisclose to throwing down. I started flailing and was like "GET THE FUCK OFF OF ME, GET THE FUCK OFF OF ME" cause they were all up in my grill so I kicked one of them in the back of the leg and was pushing them all but I to seriously contain myself cause I was going to punch them all, I had my fists ready but I knew if I did, I would get kicked out so I had to hold my fists down. Those guys were fucking evil. Anyways, SP came out, good shit as usual. Some of the funniest shit was the whole Ashlee Simpson thing, they started playing Pieces of Me and then Pierre was like "wait, this isnt the right song" and then he did the damn ho-down, it was fucking hilarious! I love Ash though, she is awesome. Anyways, another funny part was when Pierre did his "dance moves" if you want to call them that. He attempted the running man and the sprinkler and it was seriously one of the funniest things I have ever seen. I don't know if he purposely dances bad or if he really is that much of a spaz, its always entertaining. I love that guy, so hilarious. So yeah, Pierre and David hitting the notes on The Darkness' song...FUCKING AWESOME! I was laughing, so hot. Anyways yeah, they of course did awesome, opened with "Shut Up" and ended with "Perfect" It was a pretty balanced mix of old and new so that was cool. We went outside near the bus and waited. We even made new friends! I enjoyed being in another state cause no one had these pre-conceived notions about us. So yeah, we chatted with a few different groups of people. SP finally started coming out and we had a "concept" photo idea if you will. We all had hoods on all ghetto fabulous and we made them go in the middle of us sitting or standing and we just did stupid shit. Thanks to Amy and Debra for the ride! You guys rock! Anyways...we got back to the hotel, found out that bitch ass Bush is our president for another 4 years! HOW SICK IS THAT? HOW THE FUCK DO PEOPLE ACTUALLY WANT HIM AS A PRESIDENT? HE IS A FUCK UP. MY VOTE DEFINATELY DIDN'T GO TO HIM! --please excuse my venting...I'm a Californian *please disreguard our governor*...we are a lil ahead of the rest of the country when it comes to realizing that shit is bad. Anyways yeah, we got some snacks and that was that. We were off the next day trying to do one-hour photo but it wasn't working so we just went to the airport and got on an early flight and headed home. We got back to Cali at about 6 and went to get our photos done. They turned out pretty funny. So yeah...to wrap this up...this was probably the best trip ever. One of them at least! HOT SHIT! I love Simple Plan damnit! they are fucking awesome! Peep the pix below
