Travis Fimmel: Dirt-Bike Racing
Age: 22
Where You've Seen Him: Sixty feet high wearing nothing more than a necklace and a pair of snug, low-riding briefs, in Calvin Klein's latest ad campaign.
Where You Haven't Seen Him: At the busy intersection of Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street in London, where,for road safety reasons, officials recently took down a Calvin Klein ad featuring Fimmel.
His Early Athletic Education: Fimmel was raised on a farm in Australia. Because the nearest ocean was a four-hour drive away, he learned to surf by "standing on a door removed from a shed and being pulled by a motorcycle" steered by one of his brothers.
Where He Can Be Found: In LA where he splits his time between acting classes and dirt-bike races in Passadena.
On the Photo Shoot: "It was cold. I was under the sprinklers and I had to ride my bike all the way home in wet clothes."
On Calvin Klein: "He's a cool guy. He told me to just be myself. We're the only two people in his company that don't stress."
On What He Considers Sexy: "Sexy is not knowing it, not taking yourself seriously. As soon as you think of yourself as sexy, its all over."
