The Manchurian Candidate
This is Matt's all time favorite movie. Yes, it is old, and in black and white, but I don't care! I can never again watch "Murder She Wrote". I have respect for Frank Sinatra, and the film gave me much to think about. Check it out. This is a must see for any true Mattitude Follower.
Bamboozled
Spike Lee is a genuis. He is taking plenty of heat from the Spike TV incident, and I will say he does not own the word spike. HOWEVER, that does not mean he isn't my favorite director. This movie was more impactful in my opinion than the critically acclaimed "Do the Right Thing". Expect me to write a Mattitude Report on this film.
12 Angry Men (Henry Fonda ver)
This movie is a Mattitude must. The movie takes place in only two rooms (and a minute outside). Over an hour in one room, and the film never gets boring, and I will say that I have never seen a film with such constant tension. To me, this is an example of a man standing up against the pressures of collective behavior to do what he finds right and reasonable.
