She All My Life Love moves in mysterious way
We are so blessed! Photo

We are so blessed!
We know that our love will be sustained through faith in the promises of Christ and the prayers and support of friends and family.  Following are some of our favorite scriptures and quotes...they remind us of what is important in life.

Scriptures...New Testament
Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is patient; love is kind and envies no one.  Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude; never selfish, not quick to take offense.  Love keeps no score of wrongs; does not gloat over other men's sins, but delights in the truth.  There is nothing love can not face; there is no limit to its faith, its hope, and its endurance.

John 15:9-12
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.  If ye keep my commandments, and abide in his love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.  These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.  This is my commandment:  That ye love one another as I have loved you.

Mark 10:6-9
From the beginning of creation God made them male and female.  For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; and they shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.  What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Ephesians 5:22-33
Submit yourselves one to another as the fear of God. Wives, show reverence for your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church and He is the savior of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own Husbands in everything.  Husbands, love your wife, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it; that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word; that He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkles or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own body; He that loves his wife loves himself. For no man ever yet hate his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord the church. For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This mystery is a profound one and I am saying this as it refers to Christ and the Church; however, let husband love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respect her husband."

Scriptures...Old Testament

Genesis 1:28
And God blessed them, and God said unto them,
Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it.

Genesis 2:18-24
And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help mate for him.  And out of the group, the Lord God formed every beast in the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.  And Adam gave names to all the cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found a help mate for him.  And the Lord caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; and the rib, which the Lord God has taken from the man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.  And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and the flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.  Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Psalm 128:1-4
Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.  For thou shalt eat the labor of thine hands; happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.  Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house, thy children like olive plants round about thy table.  Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.
