Because You're Gorgeous!

Do you get told you're gorgeous all the time?

Jesse: "Er... no! Fans do say that, but it's kind of weird cos I don't understand it. I don't think I'm gorgeous and I'd prefer not to be called cute.

Why not?

Jesse: "I always think, 'Are you saying that cos I'm on telly?' But it's a compliment so I'll take it as that. Ha ha! It's the people that watch the show who keep me in a job, so that's great!"

Does it embarrass you?

Jesse: "It all depends on what mood I'm in. I don't know if I behave differently cos I don't really take much notice of it."

When was the last time you felt ugly?

Jesse: "At the weekend after a big night out. I fell out of bed and had the pillow thing happening with my hair. I was in thermal pyjamas and I looked in the mirror and went, 'Oh my god! What do I look like?' I hadn't shaved in a week, so I had a chin hair thing happening, a few spots and I was looking very tired."

What's your fave body part?

Jesse: "My fingers cos I can do so much stuff with them, like play violin. I don't like the way they look though. They remind me of my grandfather's hands, he worked on farms so they're sort of stocky. They're not very well designed for playing music cos you need more spindly fingers. I've got working hands - except they haven't really done that much work. Ha ha!"

Who's the most gorgeous person you've ever met?

Jesse: " I always have trouble with this. I'll say my French teacher in year seven cos she was really cute. I was only 12. She had short hair and really cool eyes."

What makes someone gorgeous?

Jesse: " Someone unique, something different, not your mainstream good-looking but weird or different - and I like eye."

What makes a girl sexy?

Jesse: "Her eyes, her character, and the way she talks. I like eyes that look alive and bright. Her character has to be open and playful - someone who doesn't hide anything and doesn't mind making a fool of themselves. And the way she talks, as in what she says and literally what her voice sound like."

Do you think you'll ever fall in love at first sight?

Jesss: "No, I'd have to get to know someone. You can like someone when you first meet them, but you could go on a second date and end up hating them."

What makes someone a star?

Jesse: "When I think of a star, I think about someone who's stuck-up! A good character and sense of humour makes someone special. I've got lots of friends like that so they're all stars."

Is it weird that people think you're a star?

Jesse: "Yeah. To me, I'm doing a job, but my job gets shown on television. People see me every days so I can understand why they get excited. I do the same thing. When I went to the Logies ( Aussie TV awards), I was looking around going, 'Oh look, there's so and so!' I was seeing people that I'd seen on TV, so it's no different for me."

Where's the weirdest place you've been asked to sign an autograph?

Jesse: "I've done one at the top of the Eiffel Tower in freezing cold weather! I was on holiday and a fan from England asked for my autograph. Do they ask me to sign parts of their bodies? Yeah, I've signed arms and t-shirts. Girls have taken their t-shirt off too! It doesn't embarrass me, but it is weird!"

Who would you say was an angel?

Jesse: "My mum's an angel - cos she's my mum! I'm not really close to her but we get really well. She cooks and does everything - she's such a great mum, She does a home-cooked meal every night."

Does your mum keep you in shape then?

Jesse: "Without my mum I would be gone so fast cos I'd eat crap. But I guess I execise and have fun!"

What stresses you?

Jesse: "I crashed my car and did $2,000 of demage recently. I hit a car going about 60km. What really annoys me is that I bought it off an 89 year old guy who hadn't crashed it once. I had it four months and smacked into someone who was stationary!"

Do you feel threatened by all the hot new boys on Neighbours?

Jesse: "No, cos I'm settled as an actor on the show. If gorgeous looking guys come along then that's cool. We're like school buddies and ew get along reaaly well."
