~*How Orlando & Stephanie Met*~
Me and Orlando met in Febuary of 2002 in Los Angeles, California.
It was a thursday
mourning and I went to have breakfast as usual at The Ivy in Hollywood. I grabbed one
of the tables out front with the umbrellas over them. I wasn't paying attention to the
other people sitting in that area. I was too busy looking through my gymnastics
scheduale. I had a small club invitational that I was competing in that saturday night
in Ontario. After about 15min of waiting, the waitress came with my coffe and my french
toast with fruit and whipped cream. When I picked up the cup to take a sip of my
coffee,I
looked up and saw that Orlando Bloom was sitting at the table right across from me! He
also looked up and we caught eachother's eye. I almost chocked on my coffee so I put it
down and we just gave eachother a little smile and wave. I think he knew that I was
shocked when I saw him. I didn't have the courage to walk over to him and ask for a
autograph so I just stayed at my table and continued with my own business. Every now
and then I would take a quick glance at him because he just looked so handsome sitting
there:) We caught eachothers eye a few times and I could tell that he seemed kinda
nervous. As I finished my breakfast and started going over my schedule, I noticed
someone walking up to my table. I looked up and sure enough, there he was. Orlando
Bloom himself! He asked in the most polite and gentle voice if he could join me. Of
course I said yes:) He then told me that he was watching me when I first drove up into
the parking lot of the resturant and got out of my turquoise VW Mini. He asked me if I
did sports because he noticed that my arms were rather muscular and that I was very
petite in size. I told him that I was a gymnast and he seemed very blown away by that.
We started talking about it and how I got started. I also mentioned to him that I had a
small club competition in Ontario that saturday. I told him he was more then welcome to
come and that I could get him in. He agreed. Of course we had to talk about how we
would get him in without a huge fangirl frenzy happening:) It seemed like we were
talking there for hours! He noticed that I had finished my coffee and offered to order
me another one and one for himself. Well, to make a long story short, Orlando did
attend my competition
that saturday:) One of my coaches reserved a private seat in one of the viewing rooms
above the floor. That's how everything started. He came to my competitions and I flew
to his locations where he was filming. Then, we fell in love pretty fast after that:)
Now were getting married and having a baby!
About a year later to exactly the same day that me and Orlando met at
the Ivy. One mourning he woke me up and told me that we were going out
for breakfast. He didnt tell me where though. When we got to the Ivy I
was like "Orlando? Why did you pick this place? We have'nt been here
since we first met". He didnt say anything. All he had was a smile on
his face and lead me to the exact table where we first met. I was
totally lost at this point. Did I mention that NO ONE was around?
Then, about a few minutes later, a small orchestra came to out table
and started playing music. Orlando stood up and then bent down to one
knee. At that point I KNEW what he was about to do!:) He said this,
"Stephanie, sweetheart. Ever since this day, last year. I knew that
you were something special. I was never the kind of person to walk up
to a fan of mine and start talking. But when I saw you, there was
something different. And when we started to get to know eachother
better, and the more time we spent together, (starts to pull out small
box and opens to reveal a princess cut diamond engagment ring) I
realized that you were the one for me. And now, I would like to ask if
you will make me the happiest man on earth, and be my bride?" Of
course I said yes!:) I start laughing hysterically at this point and
so doe's Orlando while he's putting on the ring. And that's how it
happened!:D
