How We Met
I met Elijah on the set of LOTR at that time I was seeing Dom. On the days that Dom was filming I was pretty much bored, with nothing to do. Elijah would always ask me to come with him driving or go into town and go to the music store there. I would always say "no" until one day I thought to myself "Would it really hurt, if I at least went with him?" So, one day he was going to town and I decided to go with him and we talked about the film, the characters, my elf ears and we laughed and talked for hours. After that it seemed like everyday that he had off, we were always together, joking around and stuff, we had become best friends. When the day came that the film was over and everyone was leaving, I think I cried more about saying good-bye to Elijah, than I did when Dom said he would see me in 2 days. Elijah and me exchanged numbers and promised to call each other whenever we were close each other's cities. Then Dom proposed to me and I was dancing on water, Elijah was the first person I called, even before my parents. He seemed excited, but you could tell that there was some hopelessness in his voice. Weeks turned into months and months into a year and still no wedding. Dom became very anxious and almost sour with me, until the day that we had a HUGE fight and I called the proposel off. Dom left the condo and I fell into a ball on the floor, crying my soul out. My heart broke a thousand times over and I trimbled as I picked up the phone to call my best friend. When Elijah answered I just bursted into tears and told him what happend. He told me that he would be at my house as fast as he could and he got from California to Texas in 2 hours. When I answered the door and flung my arms around him and just began sobbing again, they were more tears of joy than pain. I didn't let go of him for about 45 minutes, then I kinda pushed back a little and looked into his eyes. I could tell that there were some tears and I could just see nothing but love and he was looking back at me wiping my tear soaked cheeks. Something just happend and we kissed, I could see the whole fireworks and everything in my mind and I kinda melted in his arms. He looked at me and told me that this is love and he was very much in love with me. He knelt down on one knee and proposed without a blink of an eye. Now, we can look at each other everyday and know that we were soul mates from the beginning.
