No time to talk, barely time to pack
I'm leaving this place and I'll never look back
Memories forgotten and old friends are lost
A small price to pay, and almost no cost
I yearn for my freedom and wide open skies
I'll be the killer when my horrid past dies
I look to the future and live for today
I'll always move on and never will stay
I'll take you with me when I travel the road
If you're willing to help me to carry my load
You won't hold me back 'cause I'll drag you along
And maybe you'll help me if something goes wrong
I see faith in your eyes of a sapphire blue
There's a longing I see when I look at you
You're trapped, as am I, like a bird in a cage
We hide all the sadness and show all the rage
It is our time to take hold of our right
Grasp it so firmly and go into the night
Hold tight to my hand and just come with me
This road here ahead is how we will flee
The trip will begin and the journey will start
Because you and I are wanderers at heart.
