Singapore mounted its biggest civil emergency exercise
ever, with simulated attacks on its public transport system. The mock exercise, codenamed Northstar V, kicked off at 6.30 am at Raffles Place MRT. This was followed by near-simultaneous 'attacks' at Dhoby Ghaut, Marina Bay and Toa Payoh MRT stations. Over at Toa Payoh Bus Interchange, a double-decker bus 'exploded'. Here are the pictures of the Toa Payoh Bus Interchange and MRT station after the 'attacks'. |
