How we met: I was at this club with my friends and I was having a
really great time. The night went on and things just kept getting
better and better. I saw this guy on the floor really getting it on.
I told my friend that I was into him. She went and told him. I was
sort of embarrassed, so I went to the bar to get a drink. While I was
waiting, I felt this hand on my shoulder. I turned expecting to see
the hot guy, but it was my ex. He asked if I would talk with him
outside. I looked for my friend to tell her what was going on, but he
grabbed my arm and dragged me outside. I just got a glimpse of my
friend and she saw me to. Then the club doors shut. I was really
scared because he smelled of alcohol really bad. I was screaming, but
the club music drowned out my cry. He was really hurting me, and I
couldn't get away. I heard the club doors swing open, I was
trying to
get their attention, but my ex saw my and slapped me. I fell to the
ground, and held me check. I was expecting more. Just as he about to
strike again, someone grabbed a hold of his arm. I looked in
disbelief as the man was the guy from the club. He picked my ex up
off his knees and told him to get walking. He helped me up and walked
me over to the curb. I looked at him then at my friend. I asked why
he did that, and he told me because my friend told him to. I looked
at her not understanding, and he went on. "Your friend told me
you
liked me, and I liked you to, so I wanted to come tell you that. I
guess I was in the right place at the right time." Then we both
smiled, and introduced ourselves. He said his name was Sean and that
he was pleased to meet me.
How he proposed:
It was our 2 year anniversary, and Sean took me out
to this really nice restaurant. He asked for a seat in the middle of
the restaurant. After dinner he said that he had to go to the
bathroom. I waited, and mind you it took awhile. I was starting to
worry. They the lights went dim, and people filled the room with
candles behind Sean. He looked at me and got down on one knee. He
looked in my eyes and said the most beautiful proposal. I
couldn't
get the words out because I was all teary-eyed. I just nodded and he
took me into his arms and kissed me.
