Screenwriter Unveils Radical New Movie Idea

Hollywood, CA: Local screenwriter Michael Justice came forward today with what he calls “An original and remarkable new script full of action, suspense and plot twists.” Although the complete details remain secret due to studios still bidding on his script, Justice provided the media a glimpse at his genius. “Basically, my idea is to have a tough cop named John Revenge out making a drug bust which goes terribly wrong. In the process, his partner gets killed and he gets suspended from the force for awhile. However, this is the least of his worries as now his family is threatened by the drug-smuggling Central American bad guys who are financed by a group that dumps toxic waste. His dog even gets kidnapped and held hostage in a drug smuggling warehouse in the shipyards. Along the way our main character hero takes matters into his own hands, relying on old contacts, some of them in the mob, to supply him with one hell of an arsenal. He turns into a one-man wrecking crew as he traces the drug smuggling back to not only the Colombians and Jamaicans, but to corrupt officials in the US government and the oil industry. He must also discover which of the local cops involved are also corrupt. It climaxes in a fury of fire and explosions, as our hero struggles to save his K-9 and exact revenge for his partner’s death.” Movie critics are already proclaiming that when this film is made, it will be one of the greatest of all time. “There will also be plenty of one-liners,” promised Justice. Brian Dennehy, Steven Seagal, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Dennis Franz, and Reginald VelJohnson are currently battling for the leading role. The two governors Arnold Schwarzengger and Jesse Ventura also expressed interest. Actor Bill Duke has offered to play a supporting role. The movie is expected to be filling theatres in a little over a year.
